Saturday, we ate at Houlihan's for lunch. We ordered Mikaila her first kid's meal. It came with a corn dog, fries, and ice cream. She was eating it up. And finally she learned how to drink from a straw. She's so cool.

Sunday, i gave myself and Mikaila a haircut. It was just a little trim of the bangs. I look so weird. I haven't had short bangs in years. I also made Spinach and Artichoke dip. It turned out great, and Mikaila loved it also. I was totally surprised.

Weekend was pretty much boring. Thursday, Andrew felt sick, so he took off Friday. After he woke up, and had lunch, he said he felt better. So we just stayed home and watched some movies. Saturday, we went grocery shopping. Spent about $120, not bad. Then that night we made Crab Rangoon. It was pretty good, except when Andrew was flipping them over too much, it would leak and all the filling would come out. The next day, i wanted to make Shrimp and Pork dumplings ( Shu Mai?). I always get it when we go out for dim sum. They turned out better than i thought, prolly better than in the restaurant. Then Drew whipped up his own sauce for it, just throwing almost everything in it. We only had like 18 dumplings, and he made enuff sauce for a party.

Mikaila is still active as usual. Now we got her diaper taped all around. She can't get them off now...Hahah We also gave her a trim. Her hair grew so much after the last trim. I can't wait til it gets really long and full.

 Ugh, i am so tired of chasing Mikaila. She keeps taking her clothes and diaper off. I know she's not hot, cuz the weather is kinda chilly. Yesterday, i tried putting her diaper on backwards..lol She still knew how to take them off. Even when i put her in onesies, she can reach the tabs on the diaper. I think the overall shorts are the best for her. She only has one, so I need to get a couple more, and maybe some suspenders. So i can keep her pants on...lol  Anyone have any other tips???

I let Mikaila play outside yesterday, and she was running around. She fell on the sidewalk. She has a little scrape on her knee and nose. It's her very first scrape on her face. She looks so different. haha I know i'm weird.

Her hair is getting long. Her bangs are almost to her eyes again. Everytime i put her hair up, she always takes it down. Mikaila can say remote control! Well not exactly, she goes like this: shoo-trol. Something like that. Andrew doesn't believe, cuz everytime she says it, he's not listening.

On Sunday, we woke up, and Drew gave Mikaila a bath and did the dishes. On the way out to lunch, I opened two cards. Then he took me to Panera Bread for lunch. I haven't been there in over a year. We used to eat there all the time. They have good soups and sandwiches.  Mikaila spilled her cup of water all over the floor before we left, and i thought we were gonna leave without making a mess this time. Then, we headed out to Catonsville about a 25 minute drive to go to the Asian Mart. We bought a lot of veggies and meats for under $70.  We had to stop by Giant across the street for some diapers, and snacks for Drew to take to work.

Yesterday, I made this Cambodian coleslaw called Nyome for the first time. I used this new shredder we bought over the weekend at the Asian mart. That thing is soo sharp. I didn't even know i got a cut on my thumb from it. Then I got another cut on my other thumb from a knife.   At the end, it was worth it. I haven't had this dish since i've moved out of my mom's house. Drew thought it was really good, and took some to work today.

Mikaila was cranky on and off yesterday. She usually takes a nap around 1pm, but she went through the whole day without a nap. That's a first.
